Dynamic Discs Scout Disc Golf Basket Review – An Introduction!

I first came across The Dynamic Discs Scout when completing a review of The Sockibomb Foundation and how they are greatly growing the sport one school at a time. You can give that post a look here.

Part of the package each school gets is one of these Dynamic Discs Scout, so I’ve seen them in action and used them plenty.

The Dynamic Discs Scout is a high-quality, durable, folding disc golf basket. It is quite sturdy and not likely to be blown over by any gusts of wind.

It also catches your discs very well and can hold a great deal of them in it’s basket.

Let’s look at some of these upsides in more detail.

The Many Pros of the Dynamic Discs Scout Basket!

There’s a whole like to like about The Dynamic Discs Scout Basket! Here’s what we’ve found…

Great Quality – This basket is made to last! It is made from some seriously high-quality materials and can withstand plenty of wear and tear without even flinching.

Sturdy – Closely related to the quality, is it’s sturdiness. This thing is stout and laughed derisively at the many gusts of wind we played in at the school.

Catches Discs Well – Whether you’re putting or tossing from long distance, The Scout grabs onto your discs and hauls them in. It’s also got a hardy canvas basket for plenty of discs to stack up.

Easy to Transport – Because it folds up smoothly and easily, it makes it easy to transport. If you like bringing a basket to the field, this is a great candidate for that.

Comes with a Bag – Related to the transportation piece is the carrying case it comes with. I don’t use it much when going to the field on a given day, but if you are storing it for the offseason or in your car, it comes in super handy!

Potential Downsides to The Scout!

Because of all the positives to this basket, it easily makes our list for Best Foldable Disc Golf Baskets!

But that doesn’t mean it’s perfect. We didn’t find much, but here are some potential downsides we were able to find.

Not Cheap – Given it’s high quality, it’s not too surprising that this basket doesn’t come at a low price. Given it’s many upsides, loads of disc golfers happily pay the price for the quality. Nevertheless, there are certainly cheaper options out there.

Somewhat Heavy – Again, with the quality, durable materials, there is going to be some accompanying weight that comes with it.

That’s all we could find! Neither of those “downsides” are deal breakers, but I wanted to point them out just the same!

Dynamic Discs Scout Basket- In Summary!

As I’ve already stated, there’s a lot to like about the Dynamic Discs Scout Basket!

The Scout is made from high quality materials and it is made to last. It also does it’s job as a disc golf basket by catching those putts! It folds up nicely to take on the road and is perfectly suitable as a basket for your backyard.

All told, it’s a great all-around basket that I think you’ll appreciate.
