And rather than put your portable basket in one very specific spot (that might not be convenient) just so you can get light on it, it can be supremely helpful to have a disc golf light that attaches to your basket.

That way you can put your basket nearly anywhere at night and practice your throws or putting. You could also, in theory, bring these out to a local course, set them on a basket and play some holes.

In our humble opinion, however, these lights are not permanent fixtures for your basket. Yes, they are waterproof and pretty durable, but we wouldn’t recommend leaving them outside all of the time. We all know how that ends up.

These basket lights come with everything you need including a remote and batteries. They are most assuredly waterproof and they are quite durable too. Finally, what we really enjoy for our purposes is that they attach magnetically to the basket. They also light up in a wide array of colors and come with a sleep timer to preserve battery.

The magnets could be a smidge stronger, but they do the job when you find the right spot on your basket. In the end, you can easily attach and detach these at the end of each session to make them last longer.

MVP is a trusted name in disc golf.

And even though we prefer the previous lights a little more, that isn’t to say there’s not a lot to like with MVP’s disc golf basket lights.

These are bright, durable, give lasting battery life and change colors with the best of them.

The attachment, however, is a bit more permanent in that it hangs from the basket via zip tie. Just make sure that you get your placement right and hopefully you don’t leave your basket outside in the elements all of the time.

The other thing we noticed was that the batteries can get jostled at times and the device can turn off. But all told, it’s still a great light made from a trusted disc golf name.

Top Lights for Wrapping Around The Basket – Waybelive!

If you want your disc golf basket to double as a Christmas decoration, this is the option for you. These lights come in a 13-foot cord that can easily wrap around your basket and are made to endure hits from the disc and weather.

They come with a remote and you can do many different colors with them.

We like these lights, but it’s definitely not one to opt for if you plan to take the lights off and on. Most people leave their Christmas lights up far longer than they intend (or just never bother to take down) for this reason.

The quality is there and the choice is personal preference.

What to Pair With Your Disc Golf Basket Lights?

If you are playing at night it never hurts to have some great glow discs. These are great discs no matter the time of day, but they definitely provide that extra glow at night.
