Rogue Iron Disc Golf Retriever – An introduction!
In disc golf, there aren’t many worse feelings than losing a favored disc. But to take it up a notch, that feeling worsens when that disc you lost is within your sight, but you just can’t reasonably get to it.
For this reason, and more that we’ll get to, it can be well worth it for a player to carry a disc retriever in their bag.
If that’s the route you plan to go, we highly recommend the Rogue Iron Disc Golf Retriever. This telescoping retriever is durable and built to last. It comes with 3 different heads that are easily interchangeable and all serve various useful purposes.
When you are done using it, it retracts to 16 inches and fits comfortably in your bag, where you can store it for your next retrieval situation.
After retrieving 2 or 3 discs the retriever pays for itself and even still, it is very reasonably priced.
All told, the Rogue Iron Disc Retriever is a great option for any disc golfer and we highly recommend it!
The Many Uses of The Rogue Iron Disc Golf Retriever!
With 3 heads, for various purposes, there is plenty of utility to be found with Rogue Iron’s disc retriever.

In general, retrievers aren’t just for ease in retrieval from trees and bodies of water. Sometimes they just save you a lot of grief so you don’t have to boldly go where you don’t want to be going.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve opted for my retriever rather than barreling into some thorny briar patch (Br’er Rabbit I am not). The same can be true for a patch of poison ivy or some vicious mud.
Not only do you make your money back in disc retrieval but it also saves your clothes and limits frustration greatly.
But, one additional nod to the Rogue Iron Disc Retriever is the 3 heads it comes with. Typically, I’ll keep the classic 2 pronged head attached. But I have definitely utilized the rectangular head for dragging the bottom of ponds (especially ones where I can’t see my disc) and retrieving discs from the water. I’ve even grabbed a few for my fellow disc golfers as well!
All told, Rogue Iron’s retriever is super convenient and useful to have in your bag and you won’t regret having it along for your rounds!
