Quite arguably, there is no bigger name in the world of rangefinders than Bushnell!

They’ve been in the rangefinder game since well before rangefinders were even a thing in disc golf. As such, they are about as close to a sure thing as you can get.

In addition to the trusted name, Bushnell’s Disc Golf Rangefinder has a great viewing lens, is water resistant, has scanning mode, is accurate, gives elevations, and also has a 5-year warranty.

If you get the big brand name you will traditionally pay a bit more and there is no exception here. In addition, despite the fact that it doesn’t use a lot of power, you do have to replace the battery (not rechargeable). It also does not come with a case. If you are willing to overlook these details, you’ll get a great rangefinder in Bushnell!

Best Rangefinder For People Who Like Gadgets – MVP Parsec!

Some people just like a lot of features in their products.

If this describes you, then you might be an excellent candidate for the MVP Parsec.

In addition to the pinpoint accuracy this rangefinder provides, The Parsec has 9 different modes on it. With these 9 different modes you can measure heights of obstacles, gaps in the trees, slope, relative distance and even the speed an object is traveling!

It comes with a great carrying case, a rechargeable battery (with included USB-C cord) and has a top quality brand name.

For such a gadget, you will certainly pay a bit more, but this may be worth it for you. Disc golf is about fun and if this increases your fun quotient, then you should certainly consider it.

In addition to the higher price, we should note that it is quite difficult to measure the speed of a traveling disc. You need the person measuring to have a steady hand and be able to train it on the disc for a few seconds. It’s pretty unrealistic so don’t get it just for the speed feature. All told it’s a precision instrument with a lot of features and can add a lot of infotainment to your round.

Best Rangefinder for Those that Want a little of Everything – Apex!

If you’re the type of person that read the previous 3 reviews and wanted to combine them all (sort of) and still get a great rangefinder than this may be the one for you!

Infinite’s Apex NP-600 is a high quality instrument that is incredibly accurate from all sorts of distances. It has a rechargeable battery (with cord), a carrying case, and it also has 9 different measuring modes as well.

And as it stands right now, it’s about 25% less in price than the Parsec.

But basically, to our eyes, it’s essentially The Parsec, with a lesser carrying case and significantly less money!

It has all the settings and gadgetry that some people enjoy (including that speed mode!), but for a cheaper price. If you like all the gadgets and want to save a few bucks, The Apex NP-600 could be a great one to consider.
