If it eats at you and affects your mood and even your round, you may want one.

It also has 3 different heads you can use for various purposes (water, trees, bushes, etc.). And, with a nice finishing touch, they used wing nuts to make sure changing the head and keeping it on, were super easy and efficient.

Best Extra Long Disc Retriever! – MVP ARM Retriever!

In many ways, this retriever is very similar to Rogue Iron’s.

It comes with multiple heads (2 highly useful ones) and it also uses wing nuts for snug fits and easy changing of the attachments. It also fits easily in your bag and is lightweight.

The added bonus with MVP’s, however, is the extra length you can get with it. Unlike most retrievers that go to 16 feet, MVP’s ARM extends to 21 feet.

And it’s still very smooth and easy to use. Not too shabby having that extra length when you need to extend for a valued disc!

Best All-Terrain Disc Golf Retriever – Max Stick!

I really like how useful the suction cups are for retrieving discs from water. You just tap the disc a little and lift it to safety.

But this retriever works great on land as well. If you lose your disc in a hard-to-reach thorny place, this retriever grabs ahold and you can lift your disc out of a tight spot with relative easy.

It fits nicely in your bag and even has a loop on it for securing it to your bag so you don’t drop it. It’s a great retriever for water or land.

First off, Dynamic Discs is a trusted name in disc golf so you know you are getting some measure of quality with this disc retriever.

And it certainly brings the quality! But it also comes at a very competitive price.

That’s probably because it only has one 2-pronged head that comes pre-attached. Nevertheless, if I were to pick just one attachment, it would be this one (or the suction ball).

Best Retriever for Water Hazards! – The DD Golden Retriever!

This one has two distinct advantages, the way I see it. First, it does NOT have the telescoping rod that can sometimes break. It is attached to light rope instead (with two lengths 15′ and 35′). And secondly, it is naturally weighted to drag along the bottom of the body of water where your disc lies.

Just toss it out beyond your disc and drag it back in line with your sunken disc and the retriever picks it right up! It’s great for water and fits easily in your bag. For a variety of reasons, it is not as effective on land, however.
