Highest Rated Distance Drivers in Disc Golf – An Introduction
If you look through disc rankings and websites as much as we do, you start to notice a trend.
Distance Drivers are not usually ranked as highly as other discs.
And yet, they are easily the most sought after discs on the market. What gives? Obviously, we like our discs to go far. But something happens from the excitement when we order the disc and it arrives to when we actually throw it. There seems to be somewhat of a letdown…
We can give a lot of possible reasons for this (hand feel, poor flight ratings, lower plastic quality, etc.) but one of the reasons certainly has to be “It didn’t go as far as I expected or hoped.“
Sure, we can have better form, and brace better, and grip better, and snap and hips and tension and blah, blah, blah. And there’s certainly truth to all of that. But it probably doesn’t reflect in our lower reviews.
We wanted that thing to fly far and it didn’t. 3 stars, not 5.
So, with all of that in mind, we have combed and mined the disc golf world for the best and highest rated distance drivers in disc golf.
May it serve you well!
