Simply put, owning a disc golf basket and using it often, is going to help you consistently lower your scores.
After 4 months of owning a basket and practicing consistently, I just hit 19/20 from 25 feet (compared to 3/20 on day 1)!
Personally, I prefer the versatility that the portable baskets provide. They are light-weight and easy to move around to practice different shots. I also like the price point.
Below, I’ve highlighted some of the options I think you will appreciate.

This is like the one I have. As the name suggests it is lighter and more portable. It can also handily screw apart for ease of transportation.

Same price and credentials as the Black Hole Lite, so it may come down to personal preference.
Still quite mobile, but slightly heartier to help simulate the baskets you might find out on the course.
I have not tried this basket but I’ve heard good things about it.
With added features such as hot galvanized dipped chains, this one could be a good long term play.
Comes in three colors but I’m partial to the blue!

Very highly rated.
Similar to the Discatcher EZ above, this is a heavier duty construction designed to mimic the baskets you might see on the course.
It’s also built to last longer as well.
Similar to it’s smaller, younger sibling the Black Hole Lite, it may just come down to personal preference for you (they’re all good options!)

This one has a permanent place on my “wish list” until I actually get one.
It folds up easily and sets up very quickly.
As long as you can accept that it’s not a perfect representation of what you’ll find on the course, you’re going to appreciate having one of these! Click here for more info!
Sturdy, well-built and almost guaranteed to improve your putting, I have to admit that this one intrigues me (Though I don’t think it would be good for my blood pressure).
As can be seen in the photo, it is purposefully made with a smaller catch radius to help you practice hitting the center of the basket and give you more confidence on actual baskets.
