How Long have You Been Playing Disc golf?
I started playing some time around 2013 and played off and on for a few years. After 8 years away, I am back for good!
What Qualifies you to teach disc golf?
Currently? Absolutely nothing! Well, perhaps being an upper elementary teacher doesn’t hurt. But really, all I hope to do is take you along for the ride, show you what I learn along the way, and learn from you too.
What’s with the name Disc Golf Around?
More than anything, I wanted it to reflect an attitude. I’m happy to be a part of something bigger than me, but I’m also not going to take myself too seriously. I’m just disc golf’n around with my life… And the “around” just happens to be “around the world!”
What pulled You in to disc golf?
Good question! I wonder this myself because it didn’t stick the first time, yet this time I got the bug in a major way… There are many aspects I enjoy. I appreciate the people I meet playing, the challenge and personal growth, the fact that I can get a walk in the woods while I play, and more! It’s a great sport that I look forward to playing for a long time to come!
What’s Your Rating?
I don’t know but it ain’t good that’s for sure! As I write, I don’t really even know what the numbers mean yet. I’ll get into all of it, and play tournaments and all the rest. Right now, however, I’m just looking to improve in small increments and not bite off more than I can chew. I’ll be sure to keep you posted along the way…
